Star forward Nate Caddy will be available for Essendon’s clash with the Hawks at the MCG on Saturday.
Caddy was taken to hospital as a precaution after experiencing an elevated heart rate early in the spirited win over GWS last week. He was assessed and discharged later that night and will be expected to train and play without concern this week.
As reported on Monday, Xavier Duursma will miss the remainder of the 2026 season after sustaining a high-grade hamstring injury.
Tom Edwards is progressing well from his hamstring injury and is on track for a return to play next weekend, while Kayle Gerreyn (knee) remains a couple of weeks away.
The Bombers will take on the Hawks this Saturday at the MCG from 4:15pm (AEST).
