Essendon veteran Bess Keaney will be available to take on her former side Gold Coast this weekend after being cleared of injury from Sunday’s away defeat to the Dockers.

Keaney came from the ground bloodied late in the final term after suffering a heavy head knock from a Bella Smith bump – despite sitting out the remainder of the game, tests have cleared her of any concussion or head injury and she’ll be up for selection.
Returning dynamic forward Daria Bannister has since experienced knee soreness following Sunday’s match, which will see her sidelined for 2 to 3 weeks.

Amelia Radford is also a chance to make a long-awaited return from her ACL injury as she continues to train fully – she will also be listed as a test for this week.
