The Bombers visited Jingili Primary School, where students rolled up their sleeves for a hands-on cooking class led by celebrity chef Michael Weldon.

With the AFLW players alongside them, the students got involved in preparing the meal, sharing plenty of laughs and learning some new skills along the way.

The visit was part of Essendon’s wider Dreamtime in Darwin experience, connecting the team with the local community beyond game day.

For the Bombers, it was a chance to share the trip with the next generation – and prove that there’s more than one way to make an impact in the Top End.
