Ticket sales boom for Friday night's blockbuster
The AFL has advised that tickets to Friday’s Round 14 match between Collingwood and Essendon, to be played at the MCG, are selling <SPAN style=""TEXT-DECORATION: underline"">extremely</SPAN> strongly on a demand basis. A limited number of seats remain available in both the AFL Reserve and the Public section of the ground.

Last Friday night more than 83,000 fans attended the massive Essendon v Carlton clash and this Friday's night Bombers v Collingwood blockbuster looks set to be even bigger!
The AFL is encouraging all fans to purchase a ticket in advance to avoid disappointment, as well as to avoid entry queues on the night.

The MCC also advises those attending the MCG on Friday night to allow PLENTY of time to arrive at the stadium and to take public transport where possible.
Public and AFL gates will open at 5.30pm and the MCC Members Reserve will open at 5.00pm.
Jobe Watson has been ruled out of tomorrow night’s blockbuster game against Collingwood following an ankle injury sustained against Carlton last week. Despite completing most to today's training session, Matthew Knights said he would not risk the midfielder against the Magpies, electing to rest the 24-year-old until next week’s match against Sydney.
