It seems an eternity since the Bombers' last competitive game of football. But for those of you suffering from withdrawals, your fix is only about four weeks away. The Bombers take on the Sydney Swans at North Sydney Oval on Sunday, February 16th and tickets for the match went on sale today. Just under 12,000 fans witnessed last year's match and this year's game is expected to create even more interest.

The exhibition match also doubles as a family day for supporters of both sides. Essendon and Sydney players will be presented to the crowd at 2pm and this will be followed by an Auskick clinic and autograph session. The game itself will commence at 4pm.
Tickets are just $10 for adults, $5 for pensioners or concession card holders and children under 15 are admitted free. Family tickets (two adults, two children) are $20. Reserved seating in the grandstand is also available - adults $15, children $5, pensioners / concession card holders $8 and family $35.

At 16 years old, Dustin Fletcher made the decision to focus solely on football and abandon his budding tennis career. Fletcher played junior tennis with Australian player Joe Sirianni at Maribyrnong tennis club and teamed up with Australian basketballer Chris Anstey to win the Victorian junior doubles championship. Yesterday Fletcher headed to the Australian open to watch good friend Sirianni in action and young Australian tennis talent Peter Luczak in the doubles.
