In-form Bomber mid-fielder Adam Ramanauskas will face the AFL tribunal tomorrow night in the wake of the fiery opening to the match between Essendon and Fremantle last Saturday afternoon. Ramanauskas was reported on video evidence by umpire Matthew Head for striking Fremantle captain Shaun McManus before the start of the first quarter. The report of Ramanauskas was the only charge to be laid from the Essendon v Fremantle match. It will be the first time in his 39-game career that Ramanauskas has fronted the tribunal on a striking charge.
