Good news for Bomber fans today with the report that premiership player Adam Ramanauskas is likely to be available for the blockbuster clash against Collingwood this Saturday night. The 21-year-old received a knock to the ankle in the opening minutes of the match against the Adelaide Crows that forced him to leave the ground and take no further part in the match. ""Adam (Ramanauskas) received a direct knock to his ankle but luckily there is no ligament damage. We are hoping with physiotherapy and time in the hyperbaric chamber, he will be available to play this week,"" football manager Matthew Drain said.

With the injury list decreasing at Windy Hill, Bomber supporters are hoping Steve Alessio and Mark Mercuri are two more omissions from the injury list this week. Alessio has missed the past three matches with an achilles problem. ""I have increased my training load over the past week and the achilles has responded well. I will participate in full training this week and hopefully will be fit to play. I am looking forward to getting back out there and playing,"" Alessio said. Mark Mercuri has missed the past six matches with a groin injury. The 28 year-old has recovered well from surgery and is a big chance to return this week. Before going down with the injury in the Round 13 match against Melbourne, Mercuri was starting to show glimpses of his 1999 form and his inclusion in the team would provide a handy goal scoring option.
