Hille ready to turn up the heat
Essendon are still yet to produce their best football this season according to David Hille who believes that there is no occasion more fitting than tonight’s showdown against West Coast to show the football world just where the Bombers are at. As Essendon prepare to challenge themselves against the benchmark of the competition, Hille told Bomber.tv that the team will need to be at the top of their game in order to turn up the heat on last year’s Premiers.

As Essendon prepare to challenge themselves against the benchmark of the competition, Hille told Bomber.tv that the team will need to be at the top of their game in order to turn up the heat on last year’s Premiers.
""I wouldn’t say the last three wins have been convincing wins. We have played better in two of the last three games but we are looking to improve our consistency and play better football for a greater majority of the matches each week,"" Hille said.
""If we are able to prepare the way we did in the last couple of weeks and go out there and get a good start, I think we can hopefully beat West Coast this week.""
As part of phase 1 of the Essendon/AFL Multicultural program, nine schools headed to Windy Hill to participate in the Multicultural Cup. Played over three days throughout May, the competition saw schools play four games before settling in to watch the Grand Final battled out between the two teams with the most wins on the board. The first day of the Multicultural Cup saw the Primary boys battle it out with great spirit. Despite dreary weather, the students made the most of the opportunity to demonstrate some of their best wet weather skills.
