Essendon favourite Terry Daniher became a Champion of Essendon today after winning group nine of the Champions of Essendon. The 1982 best and fairest winner played 294 games for Essendon and captained the side to back-to-back premierships in 1984 and 1985. In what was a tough week of voting, Neale Daniher and Paul Van Der Haar return to the second round nominee pool and Scott Lucas was omitted.
