On behalf of the Essendon Football Club, we would like to extend our thoughts, prayers and best wishes to the people of Northern Queensland affected by the devastation of Cyclone Yasi.
With the full extent of the damage still coming to light, there’s no doubt this latest natural disaster simply couldn’t have come at a worse time and will test the resilience of many.
The Essendon family stretches far and wide across Australia and our hearts go out to the many families, communities and towns along the Queensland coast affected by this catastrophic storm.
We hope the people of Queensland can take some comfort knowing we are thinking of you during this incredibly tough and challenging time.
