The Bendigo Bombers have turned around a four-game losing streak and put their season back on track after posting a convincing 96-point win over Frankston at Windy Hill today.

Eighth-placed Bendigo were all class, leading the match from the outset and improving their lead as the game progressed to claim victory over 14th-placed Frankson.

The win improves Bendigo's win-loss record to 6-5 at the mid-way mark of the VFL season with the Bombers still well in the hunt for a finals berth.

Strong perfromances by a number of Essendon-listed players including Jay Neagle, David Myers and Jarrod Atkinson could see them come into selection contention ahead of Essendon's clash with Melbourne this week.

The victory was marred by an injury to Taite Silverlook who suffered a broken leg.
