Essendon veterans Michael Long and Dean Wallis will make their long-awaited return to football this weekend in the Essendon VFL side. Long hasn't played football since the Bombers' round five match against Collingwood because of a knee injury. Wallis, who has been struggling to shake a back-related hamstring injury, last played senior football in round four against Sydney. Both players are expected to play a half this weekend against Frankston and push for senior selection in two weeks time. Justin Blumfield (knee) will not play this weekend.
