The special delves into the reasons behind Sheedy's controversial decision to leave Derek Kickett out of the 1993 Grand Final and also reveals the football personality who convinced Sheedy to stay at Essendon at the end of 1985 when big bucks were luring him to Sydney.

Sheedy discloses never-heard-before insights into seagulls, jackets and martians - topics dotted throughout his colourful career.

He also talks about how he has balanced life as a husband and father with that of a professional coach and how he went about changing the culture of Essendon to become arguably the AFL's greatest club.

Sheedy 25 is compelling viewing, not only for Bomber diehards, but all football lovers will enjoy the insights into this marvellous coaching jubilee.

For those who miss tonight's show, it will be available on Bomber.tv from early tomorrow afternoon with thanks to Channel 7.
