Essendon’s Family Day, proudly supported by Samsung and True Value Solar, will incorporate a number of exciting free activities for all ages including the True Value Solar Photo Booth and Red Energy Tent.

Fans will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with their favourite Essendon players and instantly receive a glossy print of that image placed on the cover of The Bomber magazine, as well as the chance to receive an autograph from the players in the True Value Solar photo booth.

Red Energy Tent
Throughout the day, Bomber fans can enter the ‘Toss the Coin’ competition and go into the draw for the chance to walk out into the middle of Etihad Stadium and officially toss the coin pre-match when Essendon take on the Western Bulldogs in Round 1.

Family Day will also be the last chance to audition for Essendon’s Red Energy Red & Black Squad – so dress up in red and black and bring along your loudest chants and support for the Essendon players.
Bendigo Bank FanZone
Supporters will have the chance to test their football skills at the Bendigo Bank FanZone. Essendon’s community team will take fans through kicking, passing, bouncing and marking skills as well as a weaving course set out through our giant Yakult bottles.

Children can enjoy playing in the huge inflatable ‘footy adventure challenge’ and jump all day long on the massive jumping castle super slide.

On the main stage, 48 lucky children will present the 2011 Essendon playing list with their official match-day guernsey.

Family Day will be an opportunity for fans to receive autographs from their favourite players in the Bombers signing tent. Supporters are encouraged to bring along their Essendon apparel including guernseys, caps, autograph books or simply use the Host Plus autograph cards provided to all on the day.
Throughout the day, there will also be a chance to meet with Skeeta, pose with a Premiership Cup and have a kick on the famous Windy Hill oval.
