Reviving the famous Kevin Sheedy jacket wave, we want the Bomber army to make as much noise as possible under the roof at Etihad to help the team get over the line against the undefeated Eagles.
Essendon great Paul Salmon kicked the winning goal in the dying seconds of the Bombers thrilling two point win over West Coast in round 16, 1993 and Salmon said the waving of the jacket from Sheedy after the siren began a great football tradition.
“It is just wonderful to see that since that game both clubs have engaged the waving of the jacket,” Salmon said.
“It is great symbolism for a wonderful contest and we snuck through and won the important one that year with the premiership.”
