Heritage Logo
Featured on the back of the guernsey the EFC Heritage logo was last used during the club’s 125 year celebration in 1996.
Prior to that the logo has been used at various stages throughout the club’s history.
Its inclusion in the Heritage Guernsey is based on a belief that is best encapsulates the clubs history when taking into the logos used in our history.

His signature features on the chest of the guernsey within the traditional red sash of the Essendon Football Club on field guernsey.
On retail versions of the guernsey there is a neck label featuring an image, signature and key playing statistics to further honour one of the legends of the club
Also a key part of the heritage guernsey is the club motto ‘Sauviter in modo fortiter' in re which dates back to the 1870’s and translates as ‘gentle in manner, resolute in deed.’
Premiership players names
The guernsey features names of each of the Essendon Football Club premiership players from years gone by.
The guernsey honours each of the players who have had played in one of Essendon’s 16 winning premiership sides.
Names on the guernsey include premiership captains Terry Daniher, Ken Fraser, Mark Thompson and James Hird.
