Matthew Knights expects his Bombers to take their best game on the road when they fly north to play Sydney this Sunday.
Knights says the team will need to produce a four-quarter performance to defeat the Swans who were narrowly beaten by Hawthorn on the weekend.
“I felt they were really strong against Hawthorn and they could have got it at the end there with that last shot,” Knights told Bomber.tv today.
“As a coach I like to look at form lines and I think Sydney’s form line was much better last week so it’s going to be a big contest.
“They’ve been outstanding for a long period of time, physically with the contested ball and the way they tackle and apply themselves to the game,” he said.
“They have been a really consist football team and we’ll expect nothing less than a really strong performance from them.
“Sydney is a strong side but we will go up there with our best effort.”
Despite winning their last three matches, Knights says his playing group still has a long way to go.
“We have certainly played better as a team in the past five weeks,” he said.
