Most Games Together as a Pair of Players – Tyson Edwards and Andrew McLeod, Adelaide. Tyson and Andrew are due to play their 290th match together for Adelaide this week, since first playing together in Round 11, 1995 against the Western Bulldogs at AAMI Stadium. That would take them into first spot in the history of the game for the most matches played together by two players. The leading pairs are Kevin Bartlett and Francis Bourke (289 matches together of a possible 358 for Richmond between 1967-81), Tyson Edwards and Andrew McLeod (289 matches together of a possible 321 for Adelaide since 1995), Brad Johnson and Scott West (287 matches together of a possible 345 for the Western Bulldogs between 1994-2008) and Nathan Burke and Stewart Loewe (280 matches together of a possible 358 for St Kilda between 1987-2002).
250 games - Simon Goodwin, Adelaide. Simon is due to become the seventh player in the history of the club to reach 250 games, joining Andrew McLeod (317 games), Mark Ricciuto (312 games), Ben Hart (311 games), Tyson Edwards (302 games), Nigel Smart (278 games) and Mark Bickley (272 games).
Most Consecutive Games – Brett Kirk, Sydney Swans. Brett is due to play his 169th consecutive game this week, dating back to round 15, 2002. This would take him equal to the tenth best consecutive games streak in history. AFL LONG-TERM INJURY LIST
The AFL wishes to advise the following recent changes have been made to club lists, under the provision of the AFL injury list rules.
Carlton – Upgraded Greg Bentley from the rookie list as the replacement for Jarrad Waite, who was already on the long-term injury list.
Western Bulldogs – Re-instated Paul O’Shea from the long-term injury list to the senior list, and returned Liam Picken to the rookie list.
AFL ROOKIE LIST, MID-SEASON UPGRADES TO SENIOR LIST
The AFL wishes to advise the following players have been upgraded to club senior lists, since round 11, under the revised rule allowing for one player per club to be upgraded after the mid-point of the season, provided that TPP requirements have been met.
