Essendon has pulled out the big guns for its first round Wizard Cup match against the Kangaroos this Saturday at Manuka Oval. James Hird, Matthew Lloyd and Dustin Fletcher will all line up for the Bombers, along with a number of new faces. Jobe Watson, Adam McPhee, Jason Laycock, Ben Haynes and Damian Cupido will all make their senior debut for the red and black. Watch out also for a bulked-up Joel Reynolds in the number 29 guernsey and fellow 2001 draftee Andrew Welsh wearing number 12.

The squad of 28 was selected by the match committee earlier today in Sydney. The team will have its final training session before the match tomorrow at Manuka Oval and four players will be omitted before the match on Saturday.
