Each year Essendon Women’s Network hosts The Grand Final Comedy Debate where Australia’s best comedians debate the big AFL issues.

This event is the annual premier AFL endorsed event for women during Grand Final week with a menu specially designed by Chef/Owner of Vue de monde Shannon Bennett.

The Great Grand Final Comedy Debate this year will be discussing the statement “There are no gentleman left in the AFL”.

Held at Crown Palladium on Thursday 27thSeptember leading Australian comedians Matt Tiley, Jo Stanley, Anthony ‘Lehmo’Lehmann, Fiona O’Loughlin and Matthew Hardy debate the topic along with HeraldSun football writer Mark Robinson.

Tickets are $160 for non-EWN members and$135 for EWN members.

The event will include both silent and mainauction segments as well the highlight of the afternoon when the coveted annualAFL Football Woman of the Year is awarded.

There is also set to be a specialperformance from the cast of the Tony Award winning musical ‘South Pacific’.
