Starlight at The Dome will be held this Sunday, when Essendon take on the Western Bulldogs. At this annual event, the Bombers are calling on all members, sponsors and supports to donate to one of the 80 Starlight  volunteers who will be rattling tins at the game.

Starlight Chlidren's Foundation provides a positive distraction for seriously ill children, taking their mind off the pain, stress and isolation caused by hospitalised and serious or chronic illness. Starlight provides an opportunity for kids to simply be kids and have fun – to do the things that their illness has taken away.

Through the support of Essendon, Starlight is able to achieve this impact through entertainment programs within and outside the hospital environment including Starlight Express Rooms, Starlight Express Vans, Starlight Fun Centres and Starlight Wishgranting.

Starlight touches the lives of more than 200,000 children each year and is Essendon Football Club’s preferred charity.
