Despite the hype surrounding the return of young gun Michael Hurley from suspension for tomorrow's clash with West Coast, assistant coach Ashley Prescott today played down expectations.

""He is a very talented young player and a real competitor,"" Prescott said.

""We are not expecting a lot from Hurley other than he competes and does his best. He certainly adds another option up forward, if that is where he ends up playing. It's where he has been doing a lot of his playing through the pre-season and back at the Bendigo Bombers .. so he is obviously an option for  us down there.""

Prescott said the players are well aware of the importance of this game.

""Massive game. Last week against Carlton was a positve step but to go over and lose to the West Coast Eagles really cancels that out so it's a very imporatnt game,"" he said.

""We don't fear it (Subiaco Oval). It's a big game and they are going to be super comptitive, it's just about the 22 you take over really sharing the workload and winning the contested football. If we cvan do that it's really irrelevant where we are playing.""

Prescott confirmed that Mark McVeigh would play for the Bendigo Bombers this weekend assuming he pulls up ok from training today following a bout of blood poisoning.

""It's more the fact that he needs to play some football and get some touch in, it affected probably his prepartion an little too much to select him,"" he said.

Prescott said he expected very few changes to the side with Travis Colyer and Jake Melksham likely to hold their spots and play their second game - especially with Perth experiencing ordinary weather.

""They gave us a lot of run and dare and I think that really helped us,"" he said.
