Windy Hill has looked more like a demolition site rather than a footy oval in recent weeks. The $350,000 oval renovation with new drainage is well underway and on schedule to be completed this week. The team is currently training at La Trobe University, Bundoora and will return to Windy Hill at the end of the April.

Adam Ramanauskas is still a few weeks away from 100% match fitness, but he is finding more and more touch with every game. The coaching panel has slowly eased him into the midfield and he played close to one half in the centre in last Saturday’s practice match against Sydney. ""Isn’t it wonderful to see him back and performing,"" Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy said.
