The AFL has released an updated freeagency list for both restricted and unrestricted free agents across thecompetition.

Under the guidelines agreed to betweenthe AFL and AFLPA, seven Essendon players will be eligible for free agencyfollowing the 2012 season.

The Bombers have one restricted freeagent and six unrestricted free agents heading into the free agency period.

Angus Monfries is a restricted freeagent while Ricky Dyson, Dustin Fletcher, David Hille, Nathan Lovett-Murray andHenry Slattery fall into the unrestricted category.

All free agents can consider offers fromrival clubs during the free agency period running from October 1 to 5pm on October19.

Unrestricted free agents can move to theclub of their choice while an offer to a restricted free agent may be matchedby his club, who has the right of first refusal of his services.

If an unrestricted free agent does not wishto remain at his original club, he must enter the draft or seek a trade.

Any club with a net loss of free agentswill receive compensation from the league in the form of allocated draftpicks.
