Essendon will be boosted by the return of key position prospect Michael Hurley this Friday night as the Bombers head west in search of their second win against the Eagles.
Having served his club-imposed three-game suspension, Hurley’s senior recall comes after a four-goal, best-on-ground performance for the Bendigo Bombers last weekend.
The 19-year-old replaces Brent Stanton who will miss with a back injury.
Meanwhile Mark McVeigh has been sent back to the VFL this weekend to gain some match fitness after spending five nights in hospital last week while overcoming an infection to his elbow.
