""It is really great to touch base with all the fans that follow Essendon and footy fans in general in the Western Districts. It has been quite a while since we have been down to Warrnambool and I am really pleased to take the Bomber team down there.
We have got a premiership player and a best and fairest winner, Scott Lucas, from the region and one thing Essendon has always tried to do is support the areas that have contributed to our club."" - Kevin Sheedy
