For the first time since Round 21 of the 1993 season, Essendon will make a trip down the highway to play a match in Geelong. This is a fantastic opportunity for supporters in the area to see the Bombers in action as they prepare for the 2007 season.

James Hird and Adam McPhee are the big names that come in to the squad of 28 for the NAB Challenge match against the Western Bulldogs at Skilled Stadium. While Damien Peverill, Mark Bolton, Jay Neagle and Nathan Lovett-Murray have also been selected.

All proceeds from the game will be donated as a drought relief fundraiser for grass roots football in the Geelong area.

Essendon Football Club matchday members enjoy free entry to the game, but donations will also be accepted to the appeal.
