Former rookie Ben Haynes had a minor setback earlier in the month when he was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his foot. The good news for Haynes is that scans revealed there was no fracture and he is expected to be available for selection in Round 1. Bomber coach Kevin Sheedy believes that Haynes has the ability to become a top class mid-fielder for the team providing he continues to work hard on the track.
