Thank you for supporting the BomberLand website this season - the official website of the Essendon Football Club. The BomberLand website has enjoyed another successful year and broken the latest news from Windy Hill first including Adam Ramanauskas' illness and Matthew Lloyd re-signing with the club for two years. We were also the first website to offer free match highlights.
The BomberLand team, however, is striving to further improve the quality of the website and we need your help by completing the Client Satisfaction Survey by Monday, October 27th. One lucky person who completes the Website or Engine Room Client Satisfaction Survey will win two tickets to the 2004 Chairman's Season Launch. Essendon Football Club was today found guilty of breaching the provisions of the Total Player Payment rules and fined $85,000 as a result. The AFL Commission heard the case this morning and imposed a fine after finding the club's breach had been of a technical nature and not pre-meditated. It also found the club had acted responsibly by taking advice from a law firm. A full transcript of a statement from AFL Chairman, Ron Evans, is attached.
