Essendon defender Sophie Van De Heuvel will miss the Bombers final game of the season against Collingwood after entering concussion protocols.
The defender sustained a head knock in a collision during the second quarter and failed her SCAT assessment. She has been cleared of any further injury.
Emily Gough also sustained a head knock in the fourth quarter against Hawthorn and required a SCAT, she then missed the remainder of the game.
Gough was cleared following the assessment and will be available for round 12 against Collingwood.
The Bombers will host Collingwood at Windy Hill this Sunday in their final game of the 2026 season, with the match commencing at 1:05pm AEDT.
