Unfortunately Scott Lucas' run of 55 consecutive games will come to an end this weekend after Scott broke his fibula in Adelaide last Friday night. Scott was taken from the ground on a stretcher midway through the first quarter after landing awkwardly. X-Rays taken on Sunday revealed that Scott had also done damage to the medial ligament in his ankle.

Fortunately for Scott, the damage to his leg and ankle is not as severe as Peter Berbakov's, but like Peter, Scott is likely to miss most of the remainder of the season. With the initial diagnosis having Scott on the sidelines for up to 12 weeks, he is setting his sights for a return in the last few rounds in time for the finals.
