The final make-up of the Bombers side to take on West Coast this Friday night remains a mystery with a squad of 25 training at Subiaco this afternoon. Damian Cupido and Paul Thomas didn't make the trip across but Sam Hunt, Joel Reynolds and Angus Monfries were among those that did - confirming at least two changes will be made to the side that went down to Adelaide.

Justin Murphy (knee) and Mark Bolton (hamstring) both trained freely and are expected to play. Doubt remains over Dustin Fletcher (ankle) - the champion full back watching training from the stands along with Mark McVeigh who has a bruised knee. McVeigh is expected to play. David Hille didn't make the trip across to Perth today, staying at home to complete a university exam. He will join his teammates tomorrow.

Kevin Sheedy was at his light-hearted best talking to the local media prior to training. Asked firstly how he would deal with the boom West Coast midfield, Sheedy replied, ""We have brought plenty of Vietnamese trip-wire with us so we will use some of that and we are going to plant land mines underneath the sprinkler heads - we'll just blow them out of the midfield,"" he joked.

Asked about the in and out form of a lot of sides this season - ""Anybody who is leading a football tipping competition right now, knows absolutely nothing about football,"" Sheedy said.

But Sheedy did get serious when asked about the second half fade out against the Adelaide Crows last weekend. ""It was a poor half of football - there is no doubt about that but if you take that out, our form in the past few weeks has not been that bad. How much we should read into it, I'm not sure just yet,"" Sheedy said.

""But what I can guarantee is that we will keep playing the kids and giving them a chance - we are about building a side and no matter how we are going I'm always looking to the medium-to-long term. I certainly want to win on Friday night but I will keep looking to the future no matter what happens.""
