This Friday night the Essendon Football Club and Dairy Farmers will provide a special treat for a group of Shepparton children by hosting them for the Geelong game. The children are from families affected by the drought.

As part of the Essendon experience, the group will first be treated to a behind the scenes look at Windy Hill including being taken for a tour of the Hall of Fame and the Bombers' training facilities. They will also get to experience the thrill of kicking for goal on the Bombers' home turf before being treated to some light supper.

Then it’s off to the big game to see the Bombers take on the Cats in what is set to be a cracker of a match. And they are sure to be the envy of all Essendon fans when they receive the rare privilege of watching the boys prepare for the blockbuster in the rooms prior to the match.

But that is not all.

Two of the lucky footy fans will have the once in a lifetime experience of helping hold up the Essendon banner as the Bombers make their way onto the field.

Essendon Football Club would like to congratulate Dairy Farmers on this wonderful initiative and look forward to working together in the future to provide similar opportunities.
