At the 30-minute mark of the third quarter of yesterday's match Mark McVeigh hit Matthew Lloyd on the chest. Lloyd duly slotted through his eighth goal of the match. So what you might say! It might have meant very little in the context of yesterday's match against West Coast but it created a small peice of history. Lloyd had kicked the Bombers 25,000th goal in League football. The Bombers became the third club to achieve the feat behind Collingwood and Carlton.
