The VFL appeals board tonight accepted Essendon's submission that Hille had in fact been pushed by a Williamstown opponent and that it had been a significant contributor towards his alleged charging offence.
The overturned decision is a huge bonus for the Bombers who have opted to take a very tall side into the match against Fremantle. Hille comes into the side along with Cartledge and they will form the ruck duo that enables Jason Laycock to spend more time up forward.
And just a reminder for all Bomber fans that the Bendigo Bombers take on Geelong at Windy Hill tomorrow. The game starts at 1.10pm and will include names such as Damian Cupido, Paul Thomas, Angus Monfries and Henry Slattery.
