The hard yards have already begun for a number of Essendon players as they prepare for the 2013 season despite not returning to the club until November 1.
Some Bombers have been spotted at Windy Hill in the last week getting ready for the upcoming pre-season campaign.
As recently as Wednesday, midfielder David Myers was spotted running laps around Windy Hill oval, similar to veteran Dustin Fletcher who was also seen just days into the players holiday period.
Myers is one of ten players heading to the club’s high altitude camp in Boulder, Colorado on November 3.
Also going on the camp will be Jobe Watson, Brendon Goddard, Brent Stanton, David Zaharakis, Michael Hurley, Ben Howlett, Jake Melksham, Dyson Heppell and Michael Hibberd.
Goddard is currently overseas on holidays with the camp set to be the first time he will meet his new teammates.
The group of ten will be accompanied by midfielder coach Simon Goodwin and Performance Coach Justin Crow.
Following the high altitude trip the group will meet the rest of the playing group for a week long camp on the Gold Coast.
