Essendon midfielder Sam Lonergan will return to the Bombers side to take on the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night at Etihad Stadium.
Lonergan comes into the side to replace injured midfielder Angus Monfries in the only change to the Bombers team that defeated Fremantle last weekend.
First round draft selection Elliott Kavanagh has been named in the squad for the first time since being drafted, he is named as an emergency.
