Camporeale says Watson could play against Pies
Star on-baller, Jobe Watson, has made a dramatic recovery from an ankle injury sustained against Carlton last week and is now considered a chance to play tomorrow night. Assistant coach, Scott Camporeale, said Watson trained on Tuesday and, if all goes well today, could still play in the blockbuster game against Collingwood at the MCG.

Assistant coach, Scott Camporeale, said Watson trained on Tuesday and, if all goes well today, could still play in the blockbuster game against Collingwood at the MCG.
He was expected to miss two weeks with strained ligaments and muscle damage.
“We’ve still got a training session this morning. He has recovered very well, very quickly so we’ll give him a test this morning and we’ll see after that,"" Camporeale said.

There was more good news on the injury front with Adam McPhee expected to return from a leg injury.
“He is certainly right in the mix and is important for us to come back in,"" Camporeale said.

Scott Gumbleton today revealed he is taking a long-term approach to his rehabilitation from a serious back injury. The No.2 selection in the 2006 National Draft says while a return to football this season has not been 100 percent ruled out, medical staff are taking a conservative approach to his rehabilitation and are progressing his recovery with the expectation of getting him fully fit for the 2010 season.
