The Australian Football League (AFL) has advised that the Hawthorn Football Club has lodged an appeal after last night's tribunal case involving Lance Franklin. Franklin was found guilty of 'engaging in rough conduct' against Richmond’s Ben Cousins and suspended for two matches which would see him miss Saturday's finals deciding blockbuster with the Bombers at the MCG.
