General Manager of Football Operations Paul Hamilton said after reviewing the footage and receiving advice from the club’s legal department a decision was made not to contest the charge.
“The rule is very clear that if you make contact with an opponent’s head when bumping you will be found guilty of rough conduct.”
“Stew certainly didn’t intend to injure Dylan, and the match review panel found that the bump wasn’t intentional but was negligent.”
