Big names return for Bombers
Essendon has been injected with a boost of experience for its Round 17 clash against Brisbane on Saturday night. With the return of James Hird, Dustin Fletcher, Adam McPhee and Richard Cole to the side it may just give the Bombers the confidence they need to get over the line against the Lions.

Joel Reynolds, Patrick Ryder, Chris Heffernan and Andrew Lee have all been omitted with the inclusion of the big names and will return to the Bendigo Bombers outfit that will play Geelong on Saturday afternoon.
Richard Cole will make his anticipated debut for Essendon this weekend, with Kevin Sheedy today confirming the former Magpie will play for the Bombers against Brisbane. Arriving at the club after Collingwood agreed to trade him in exchange for draft selection 23, Cole has struggled with a number of soft tissue injuries before finding form in recent weeks with the Bendigo Bombers.
