While the players are slogging it out on the training track and busy conducting footy clinics and visiting schools this week in Sydney, one Essendon person is busy having the time of his life. Bombers' assistant coach Rob Shaw got the ticket of a lifetime last night when he went to the Rolling Stone's concert at Sydney's Enmore Theatre. Only 2000 people attended the two-hour concert and Shaw said getting the ticket was a sheer stroke of luck.

At 4.45pm yesterday Shaw, was contacted by a friend and offered four tickets to the most sought after show in town. Shaw had an half-an-hour window to accept the tickets, so he text messaged all the players to see who wanted to attend. None of the players were able to take the tickets because they were scheduled to attend a sponsor's dinner and a footy forum at North Sydney Oval. ""Not one of the players could come, so I decided to go by myself. However, I am not too popular with the other coaches and staff because I forgot to text and offer them the tickets. They are a little unhappy with me at the moment!""

Shaw sat 15 metres from the stage as the band launched into a string of hits from the 1960s and 1970s. He said the highlight of the concert was when Australian rock royalty Angus and Malcolm Young from ACDC came on stage. ""They (Angus and Malcolm) got out of the crowd and started jamming with the Rolling Stones - it was fantastic. The best line of the night was when Mick Jagger said -
""it is good to be back in Australia,""
and then legendary guitarist Keith Richards answered back -
""in my situation it is just good to be back anywhere.""

Shaw is slowly coming back down to earth after the rock concert last night and assures us that he is fully focussed on the Bombers first round Wizard Cup match against the Kangaroos.
