Essendon ruckman David Hille made a successful return to football this afternoon, playing a useful role in the Bendigo Bombers 31–point win over the Scorpions. Hille played just over a half of football, kicked two goals and moved well. The Bendigo Bombers remain unbeaten after four rounds.

Bendigo struggled early and trailed by five goals at the first break. But the Bombers took over from that point of the game with the Scorpions only managing another three goals for the game. Good players for Bendigo included Jordan Doering, Ricky Dyson, Brent Stanton, Matthew Allan and Angus Monfries.

Jobe Watson also produced a quality display across half forward and in the midfield. He sparked the Bombers into action after the team’s lethargic start to the game and senior football looks to be just around the corner. Ted Richards didn’t play suggesting there could be a late change in the senior side.
