Warren Tredrea has again proved to be the Bombers Achilles' heel, to lead a fast finishing Port Adelaide to a 19-point victory tonight at AAMI Stadium. Tredrea kicked five goals for the match including three in the final term to seal the Power’s victory. It was a gallant effort by Essendon, but it could not sustain the performance over the four quarters.
Essendon coach Kevin Sheedy has thrown down the gauntlet to young gun Kepler Bradley nominating him as the man to do the job on Port Adelaide star Warren Tredrea. ""Kepler Bradley is going to play on Tredrea. The only way to find out if we are going to have a terrific young player is to put him on the best,"" Sheedy said prior to training at AAMI Stadium this afternoon.
