One lucky Bomber fan will have the rare opportunity to be a part of the action by securing a place in the Bombers’ team as they compete in the ’10-a-side showdown’ cricket clash against the DEC Bushrangers.
Essendon’s players will face some of the biggest names in Victorian cricket at this year’s Australia Day Goes GloBALL cricket match at Windy Hill on Wednesday 26 January.
One lucky Bomber fan will have the rare opportunity to be a part of the action by securing a place in the Bombers’ team as they compete in the ’10-a-side showdown’ cricket clash against the DEC Bushrangers.
In 25 words or less, tell us why you deserve to be a part of the team and you could be batting among sporting elite at Windy Hill on Australia Day.
The winner will be announced on Friday 14 January via email and phone.
Please note: The winner will be required to make their own travel arrangements to and from Windy Hill.
Coordinated by the Essendon Football Club and Cricket Victoria, GLoBALL enables international students and new migrants to interact with the broader Victorian community through Australian Rules Football and cricket related activities the whole year round. Midfielder Brent Stanton has returned from holiday in peak physical condition after recording a personal best time in both the Beep and Yo-Yo tests. The playing group completed their post Christmas testing this morning and Stanton says the entire list has come back in good shape.
