In their inaugural year as co-major sponsor ofthe Essendon Football Club, Kia Motors Australia have successfully completedtheir Rookie Mission: To make Essendon the Most Liked Club in the game.

In their Rookie year, Kia set out to provethemselves to the Essendon Football club and its fans, by taking on the menial,the monotonous and the messy tasks around the club and helping out in whateverway they can. As part of this campaign, Kia made it their mission to get EFCfans to pledge their allegiance and stand united, wearing their ‘Like’ for theclub on their sleeve.

And to show their appreciation, Kia and Essendonare giving away the Ultimate Sporting Trip for two lucky people, and the chanceto win $10,000 spending money.

On Friday 31 August 2012, EFC’s Facebook fan pagehit a massive 208,674 followers, making Essendon the Most Liked AFL Club, aheadof archrivals Collingwood.
