Paul Barnard and Ben Doolan have both been named in the senior side for our Round 3 game against Sydney this Saturday at the MCG. Barnard has overcome an ankle strain and performed well in the reserves last week to gain selection. Doolan, who had a disappointing season in 1998 playing only 11 games, earnt his selection having put in two impressive performances in the reserves.

Mark McVeigh, our first round draft pick from 1998, who made his senior debut in Round 1 and was then dropped to the reserves, has been included in the senior line-up and named in the forward pocket. McVeigh kicked five goals against the Kangaroo reserves, coached by Bomber Thompson, and was one of the best a field.
