The AFL Trade Week has been completed and Essendon has not added anything to those deals completed earlier in the week. All clubs gathered at Optus Oval to work through the final frantic hours and while Essendon was involved in a number of discussions, nothing else came as a result.

So in summary, Essendon has added Richard Cole to its list and traded Ted Richards to Sydney. It has improved draft pick 23 to number 19 and draft selection 55 to number 51. Essendon's first selection at the national draft comes at number 7.

Essendon remains interested in securing the services of Carlton's Scott Camporeale but could not arrange a suitable deal with the Blues. If Carlton can't convince Camporeale to remain at the club, Essendon could secure his services in the pre-season draft meaning Carlton will effectively lose him for nothing.
