Zaharakis’ was charged with striking Bugg in the final quarter of Saturday night’s win over the Giants.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points resulting in a classification of a level two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one match sanction. He has no exsisting good or bad record, meaning an early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points to his future record.

Jake Carlisle and Alwyn Davey both accepted a $900 fine for wrestling in the final quarter on Saturday night.

While midfielder Heath Hocking has no case to answer after the panel deemed the force used in contact against Tomas Bugg was below that required to constitute a reportable offence.
