Essendon's Michael Ross will make his AFL debut on Sunday against Collingwood at the MCG after being named in the team today.
Ross, a running midfielder recruited from the Gippsland Power was taken with the Bombers fifth round selection, overall pick 80 in the 2010 draft.
Ross, Jobe Watson and Tom Bellchambers come into the side replacing injured duo Tayte Pears and Michael Hurley while defender Henry Slattery has been omitted.
Essendon will not take any risks with star utility Michael Hurley as he struggles with a foot injury, but says the injury won't rule him out for the rest of the season. Hurley will miss the Bombers' clash with Collingwood on Sunday at the MCG after scans showed the 21-year-old had a stress reaction in his foot.
